RELATIVE

BLACK BOX

Who's right ahead of you, who's right behind, and how many seconds away.

RELATIVE puts your car in the middle with the cars near you on track around it, whatever their class, and the gap to each one in seconds. It's what you check before lapping someone, when you're about to be lapped, or to see whether the car behind is closing in.

RELATIVE
RELATIVE in a race: your row in the middle, gaps in seconds and, in red, the car coming to lap you. Screenshot of version 3.87.29, with test data.

What RELATIVE brings

Customisable

The usual information, in the colours you want.

More at a glance

Data you don't usually get, so you don't have to jump from screen to screen.

The AI reads them

PLIA can read what they show while you drive.

What it does

The gap in seconds

Positive for cars ahead and negative for cars behind; in iRacing, the gap the sim itself gives.

Lapping at a glance

The car coming to lap you shows in red, and the cars you're about to lap in blue.

Who you're racing

Class colour on the number, licence, iRating and pit stops for every car.

Pace and stint

Optional columns with each car's clean-lap pace, stint average and laps since its last stop.

Set it up your way

Choose how many drivers you see above and below you, and what goes in the header and footer: your class SOF, time left, incidents or temperatures.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't warn you about a car alongside: that's what RADAR is for.
