PUSH & LIFT

RELATIVE

Who is right ahead and right behind you, with the real gap in seconds.

What it is for

RELATIVE shows the cars close to you on track, not in the standings. It is what you look at when lapping or being lapped. If you have a reference lap loaded, it appears as one more row, placed by its gap.

How to open and place it

  1. In the Suite menu, BLACK BOX group, click RELATIVE. On the left you see DISPLAY and on the right its menu.
  2. Click START. STOP removes it.
  3. AUTOMATIC: it starts with the simulator and stops when you close it.
  4. The dropdown chooses which screen it appears on. VR tells you which window to capture in virtual reality. STREAMING copies the link to add it to OBS as a browser source. MANUAL opens this manual on the web.
  5. Drag it to move it and stretch its corner to resize it.
  6. To drive without a click touching it, the Ctrl+Alt+L shortcut locks and releases the overlays.

The menu

  • Overlay options: the columns. Position, Car Number, Driver Name, Pits, Driver Badge, Delta to Player, Best Time, Last Time and more. Display Order.
  • Header and footer: Title Bar, Local Time and Air Temperature.
  • Styling: colours and Time Format.
  • Visibility: which sessions it shows in.

Common tasks

Showing only what matters

  1. Open Overlay options.
  2. Keep Position, Driver Name and Delta to Player.

Removing the reference row

  1. Remove the reference lap from the CSV menu of the app you use.

Common problems

  • It is empty: open iRacing and join a session.
  • It does not show in this session: check Visibility.
  • There is an extra row: it is the reference lap.
