PUSH & LIFT

MAP

The track layout with every car, in circuit or linear view.

What it is for

MAP draws the track with all the cars on it and the corner names.

How to open and place it

  1. In the Suite menu, OVERLAYS group, click MAP. On the left you see DISPLAY and on the right its menu.
  2. Click START. STOP removes it.
  3. AUTOMATIC: it starts with the simulator and stops when you close it.
  4. The dropdown chooses which screen it appears on. VR tells you which window to capture in virtual reality. STREAMING copies the link to add it to OBS as a browser source. MANUAL opens this manual on the web.
  5. Drag it to move it and stretch its corner to resize it.
  6. To drive without a click touching it, the Ctrl+Alt+L shortcut locks and releases the overlays.

The menu

  • Track: View mode (Circuit or Linear), Track line width, Track outline width and Invert track colors.
  • Colours.
  • Drivers: Show car number and Display mode: Car number or Session position.
  • Corners: the names.
  • Styling and Visibility.

Common tasks

Switching to linear view

  1. In Track, change View mode to Linear.

Seeing position instead of number

  1. In Drivers, change Display mode to Session position.

Common problems

  • The track does not show: open iRacing and join a session.
  • The cars are hard to read: enlarge the window by stretching the corner.
