LAPS

The lap log: the one you are driving, the predicted one with its delta, your best and your last.

What it is for

LAPS shows your session times at a glance, with the history below.

How to open and place it

  1. In the Suite menu, BLACK BOX group, click LAPS. On the left you see DISPLAY and on the right its menu.
  2. Click START. STOP removes it.
  3. AUTOMATIC: it starts with the simulator and stops when you close it.
  4. The dropdown chooses which screen it appears on. VR tells you which window to capture in virtual reality. STREAMING copies the link to add it to OBS as a browser source. MANUAL opens this manual on the web.
  5. Drag it to move it and stretch its corner to resize it.
  6. To drive without a click touching it, the Ctrl+Alt+L shortcut locks and releases the overlays.

The menu

  • Display: Show Current Lap, Show Predicted Lap, Show Last Lap, Show Session Best Lap, Show Personal Best Lap and Display Lap Delta.
  • Look: Legacy (classic), Round or Bar.
  • Pace and ideal lap: your pace and the lap you would get by adding your best sections.
  • Options and Visibility: which sessions show it.

Common tasks

Keeping only the delta and the best

  1. Open Display.
  2. Keep Display Lap Delta and Show Session Best Lap.

Common problems

  • Empty: drive a lap. No laps, no times.
  • The personal best does not appear: it is saved per combination; there is none yet.

  • Look Legacy: the usual blocks and history. Round: the timer in a circle whose ring is how much of the lap you have done. Bar: timer, predicted, best, last and pace on one line.
