PL DOJO

The full manual, as it ships inside the app.

WHAT IT IS

It takes your lap, compares it against a reference and tells you CORNER BY CORNER where you are losing time and why. Not a chart for you to interpret: a written report, with a mark for every corner and a plan of what to practise.

Two ways to use it:

TWO LAPS you have two CSV files (yours and a reference) and you
want the report now. Works with laps from any day.
LIVE SESSION DOJO records while you drive and analyses the whole
session afterwards, not just one lap.

THE START SCREEN

You pick a door when you open it.

DOOR 1 · TWO LAPS

  · YOUR LAP the CSV of your lap
  · REFERENCE the CSV to compare against
  · Swap switch one for the other in a click
  · track km (fills itself in if it recognises the name)
  · GENERATE REPORT → opens in your browser when it's done

DOOR 2 · LIVE SESSION

  · LIVE SESSION records and then gives the session report
  · Overlay only (no recording) if you only want the on-screen prompt
                                  while you drive

THE LIVE SESSION

You choose the reference BEFORE you start. Then you go out and DOJO keeps recording.

THE RECORDING INDICATOR

REC flashing red it is recording
  Grey it is not recording

Next to it: recorded laps, km, time and MB so far.

A red REC while not actually recording would be a lie, so it only
lights up when there really is a recording.

THE LIVE LAP LIST

Every lap appears with its delta against the reference:
    GREEN you beat the reference
    AMBER you didn't
PURPLE with ★ your best lap of the session

WHEN YOU STOP

Tick the laps you want analysed and hit generate. Each lap is also
saved as its own CSV, so any of them can be your reference another
  day.

If iRacing isn't running it says so ("waiting for iRacing…"). It doesn't hang and it doesn't invent data.

THE REPORT

It opens as a page in your browser, with a SAVE PDF button. It contains:

  · Cover and Overview of the lap
  · Your DRIVING STYLE PROFILE, and what it actually measures:
top speed · braking events per lap · % full throttle ·
% coasting · average peak brake pressure · brakes over 90%
  · Where you lose the most: corner ranking
  · Corner by corner: mark (S+ to F), cause and how much it costs, with
the minimum speed and peak brake of each one
  · A WARNINGS section with what you should know about that lap
  · Potential lap time: what your lap would be worth stitching together
    your best sectors
  · Charts: speed trace, pedals and a track map coloured by where you
    lose time

Corners are detected automatically from the telemetry, so it works on ANY circuit, not on a fixed list.

TWO SECTIONS THAT ONLY APPEAR WITH A RECORDED SESSION With a single lap there is nothing to compare, so they don't show up (an empty table would be worse than nothing):

  ONE-OFF vs SYSTEMATIC
For each corner, how many laps you get it wrong.
Wrong in 2 out of 3 laps or more → SYSTEMATIC: fix it
      Fewer → one-off: a slip
The loss shown is the TYPICAL one, not the average. That way one lap
with a spin doesn't throw off your whole training plan.
Underneath, the 3 corners to practise, systematic ones first.

  SESSION PROGRESSION
Compares the first half against the second (more honest than only
looking at your best lap): improving, flat or getting worse, and how
    consistent you were.
The bar adapts to the circuit: three tenths on a short oval is not
the same as three tenths at Spa.

AI REPORT (optional)

If you have your key set up in PLIA, the report can also include a written summary of your session. It is optional: with no key the full report still comes out, just without that written part.

SETTINGS

Language the suite's 6, and it changes immediately. The whole report
comes out in the chosen language.
Track km only if you want to fine-tune it; it fills itself in when
             it recognises the circuit name.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG

"Waiting for iRacing…" → the simulator isn't running. DOJO doesn't

invent data: start iRacing and go out on track.

REC is grey and nothing records → you are in "overlay only". Go back

to the start and come in through LIVE SESSION.

ONE-OFF/SYSTEMATIC and PROGRESSION don't appear → those two sections

need several recorded laps. With a two-lap report they cannot exist.

The report doesn't open → it is generated as a web page and opens in

your browser. If it doesn't pop up, look in the folder where it was
saved: the path is shown when it finishes.

It all comes out in the wrong language → the language is chosen on the

start screen BEFORE generating. Change it and generate again.

It won't accept my CSV → it has to be a CSV of a lap with telemetry

(Garage 61, MoTeC, or recorded by the suite itself). A results or
   lap-time file won't do.

WHAT IT COSTS

DOJO comes inside the suite. All the analysis happens on your PC: your telemetry is not sent to any server.

The only thing that can leave your PC is the AI report text, and only if YOU switch it on with your own key.
